Spectre Performance 9781 Black Degree Review

I added a throttle body gasket that caused the cold air intake elbow to be too close to the radiator fan. This gave me the little extra clearance I needed to keep the fan blades from hitting the air intake, so I'm happy with that.

It's 4" per hole, it fits 4.8 and 5.3 Chevy engines, it's near the fan, but works if you turn it to 10 o'clock position which I had. Cut a groove in the fan shroud to fit it, it was pretty soft too so if you have a supercharged engine it will probably collapse for sure.

I needed this. Something like. The angle is perfect, but it doesn't match my 102mm throttle body like I thought it would. It took a bit of stretching, but it leaves the opposite side looking a little warped. I thought it was plastic but it's rubber which is good it's quite thick. In general it will do.

As the title says, soft. The shape was perfect, but it was so soft and easy to heat that it literally wouldn't stick to the throttle body no matter how tight I clamped it with the clamps. Some of the piece on the throttle body would always come loose and that would then cause problems like a huge air leak on the hose leading to the throttle body. This is very bad, if it had a little more rigidity it would probably be ideal.
