Spectre Performance Aluminum Intake Mounting Review

This mounting bracket is incredible! It has a sleek design and adds a professional look to your engine bay. Through trial and error, I found that it is easy to install and holds up well under pressure. The aluminum material holds up well against heat and moisture. The only con is that it might not fit every car model, so be sure to check before purchasing.

Perfect fit for my application. I used it to add a cold air intake through the fender on my Porsche 928. Actually bought 2 and cut off part of the flange from one of them so it doesn't protrude too far into the wheel arch. I mounted their smooth plate on top of the smooth plate and sandwiched a piece of hydrophobic K&N pre-filter material that I cut from the filter film I used earlier. Beautifully done! Don't waste your time with the plastic version they offer. Just spend a few bucks more and get it. Paint them black if you must. They are strong, light and very well made.
