Helps cool liquids, but not for long. And that makes it impossible to close the cage with the tie attached. And the bottle is now even harder to come by.

Works well. A bit of a learning curve on how best to install it quickly, but it's not rocket science folks. Offers some temperature control benefits, but don't be fooled it will keep your drinks ice cold, especially on hot training and race days.
