This is a good mount, but the Garmin mount doesn't fit every Garmin I own, even with the adapters I have. The straw sticks up in the air and uses up some aerodynamic energy, but you can attach velcro to the frame and around the straw and push it down. There's probably a cheaper solution to the BTA hydration system, but it's easy to install, convenient, and simple.

Plastic/Nylon material seems to last a long time and is also quite light. It can be attached to the aero bars in a number of ways. If you are too concerned about your bottle flying out, it can be mounted in a different way and open the bottle towards you. The only thing that can wear out are cable ties, which you can buy at any cheaper hardware store. My wife has used it in two triathlons with no problems, her regular team water bottle fits just right. I'll get one for myself too.

I've been using this bottle cage for about a year and I'm generally quite satisfied. It's attached with zip ties, and I've probably changed two dozen zip ties in my lifetime. If you hit the bump too hard, one of the zip ties may break; However, I have never lost my cage, water bottle or harmine. If your aero bars are angled upwards, be sure to orient the bottle cage so the bottom of the bottle is facing you to prevent the bottle from falling out.
