Very good meter for the money. I brought one with me a few years ago. I took it to work so I bought it as a replacement for my home model. Little did I know this model didn't beep on continuity testing. I really miss this feature.

I needed a 400 amp meter for my RV. This completes the calculation. Me and Sparky don't get along very well, so I study the instructions a little longer when using stuff like this! But don't worry, they are very informative. I recommend this meter.

I've been using it long enough to try it, but Sperry has such a good reputation that there's no doubt about it. My opinion is that this will get the job done. And the price is great for current clamp capabilities. If I find an issue I will review and update this review.

I have had two counters for the CNC industrial service. Both were accidental, recently my booster clip was destroyed by a coolant pump. It doesn't test DC amplifiers, but I've never used a DC amplifier meter before. If you don't have a clamp meter, these are great. This was the only way to find a glass fuse that would show voltage when it blew as the element in the fuse melted leaving enough on the glass to conduct the correct voltage but could not handle the amperage of a single phase motor…
