what God sent. for electronic training collars

Thank you. Have a very stubborn Boxer/Pitbull mix. Very spoiled as a puppy and was never trained. She bit a family member and they wanted to put her in an animal shelter. We recorded them. We saw that she was cute but sassy. This product helps us in many ways. She was terrible with other dogs, now she's not that hyperactive. Maybe we can take her to a public dog park. This is the second week and we are only using sound and vibration settings per hour. It only took three electric shocks for the…

great for our bulldog

I bought this because we have an english bulldog that will stand there and bark at you for no reason. No, he's not hungry or thirsty and he doesn't need to go out. He just barks and barks and barks. Instead of going crazy, I looked around for bark collars and even bought one, but they didn't work because they relied on barking vibrations and the folds of his skin prevented that. So, about 10 years ago I bought the previous version of this model. After constant beating from children (and the dog

Key security feature is missing

I'm surprised this collar is rated so highly. I was willing to pay an exorbitant price for its range and water resistance, like most people, but upon receiving it I found that it lacked a fundamental feature seen on most remote control collars; Safety lock. Most remote controls have a sliding safety lock so you don't accidentally electrocute your dog if you decide to put them in your pocket or similar. without a reason; unacceptable if you lead an active lifestyle with a mostly behaving dog…

Wow, this is the best collar! My off-leash dog walks right next to me and if he sees a squirrel or other dog he won't run away from me! If you want your dog to learn what "no/stay/come" means, you can get it in 1 week. Don't just shock your dog, learn how to use the collar by watching YouTube videos, you can get all the important information in just a few minutes/several hours. The collar stopped working after 2-3 weeks. My dog only uses it 2 times a day for up to 30 mins. I changed it to the…

It works for what I needed it for

So I got tired of buying a cheap 30 shock collar that didn't always work when it barked. I wanted something different that would allow me to choose when to do it so it's more guaranteed. I found this after browsing the reviews of a group that had remotes and realized I had to spend money to guarantee quality. Here's what I found. Pros: - Hell, it works. - 3 options (vibrate, beep, shock) so I can choose what I need. want, based on what it does - 10 frequencies. I leave it at level 3 and it…

Don't waste money.

I would give 0 stars if I could it's rubbish. I have now bought 2 SportDog products and both have been huge disappointments, especially for the price. Reaches no more than 10-15 feet and certainly won't work with stubborn dogs. My girlfriend barely responds on the highest settings, steps back a few feet and keeps doing what she was doing because after a few hits she realized it was a short range. I had to see if it was a collar or just a strong dog, so I put it on my weak boy. He hardly reacts…

I adopted my 5 year old Black Labrador almost 2 years ago. As a puppy, he was thrown into the backyard and never exercised. When I got him he was 140 pounds "puppy" bad habits. Bite, jump up, touch me and not listen at all. I lost 20 pounds from him and improved his health but I couldn't break his bad behavior. I have had Labradors for over 30 years. I had a number of tricks that usually helped with dog training. This guy ignored everyone. He took me to the emergency room twice in the first 6…

Lightweight and great tool for dog training. Used on Australian Kelpie

This e-collar is very easy to use. Before training an e-collar, your dog must learn basic commands. Apply stimulation only after a command that the dog didn't obey. Unless it was a bite, the command not obeyed should be the only time you stimulate the dog. Ease of use: Place the receiver and transmitter on the charger for 2 hours before use. Place the collar around the dog's neck, then trim off the excess length (the collar is a length the Hulk can wear). Turn on the Receiver Collar by pressing

life changer! - Electronic Training Collars

This is the best collar I have ever bought for my dog. JE. He is an 11 year old pit bull who has never had a good rating. This is the type of dog that knows his commands, is obedient when off a leash in our fenced yard, and is obedient around the house. BUT once he can escape, he will! He's been like this since he was 3 months old. It rushes by, pounces, and uses any open door as an escape. He will chase squirrels, birds, cats, etc. for miles and hours, literally ignoring all attempts to…
