Hug and Control Sneaker

I love these sneakers! You approach the foot and push against the slippery stone without slipping. What a welcome relief from walking. However, these are the minimum shoes and I recommend them to people who have not injured themselves in the past. But you need a shoe that fits and has control, this is absolutely the right shoe.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not bad

Great walking shoes

These are great shoes for walking in the woods. They are a bit narrower so I bought a pair that is half a size larger than my regular Nike shoes. We did a 7.5 mile hike with lots of slippery rocks and steep slopes that worked great. They stick well to the ground, which makes the hike easier. They have good toe protection so small rocks are not a problem.

Very grippy rubber and good flexible fit.

I usually wear size 7 women's clothing, but when I tried them on in the shop, a size 8.5 seemed right to me. A few days later I bought them online for a cheaper price and after a few hikes I was glad I went with the 8.5. I wore them to walk around Yosemite at Half Dome and they felt very secure on granite rocks, offered good support and were flexible enough to wear. I would buy! They fit my narrow feet much better than other shoes I've tried.

Impressive shoe, best for running

I have searched a lot for OCR shoes and took a chance on this one. I have narrow feet, high arches and I'm a Brooks Ghost girl in a size 9. They fit me perfectly (I ordered a size 9) and didn't need to be broken in. When I first put them on, I defeated the spartan beast after riding about 15 miles total. My feet never hurt, no calluses, and I felt confident and stable on any terrain and in any conditions. Having the right trail/OCR shoes has made a HUGE difference for me. (I've used the insoles

Be careful what size you order.

I really liked the first pair I bought. So I bought a new pair as the old ones were worn out. My previous shoes were 7.5. I ordered 7.5 for a new pair. I didn't need them right away because I swam and didn't run in the summer, so they sat in my closet for a couple of months. I'm running again now that it's cooler, and you know what? These shoes run half a size smaller. These are EXACTLY the same shoes as my old pair but definitely smaller. It's like the manufacturer decided to save 1/2" of shoe

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Compatibility

True to size on middle leg. Amazing traction! Cozy!

Purchased for the first mountain tour. It was a very difficult wet slab, wet rock and rough terrain. The support of the shoe was excellent. No problems with my feet when it was finished which meant they got the job done comfortably. The outside temperature was 30 degrees. My feet were warm and I used thin cotton socks. I wouldn't say they're waterproof, but they are *slightly* waterproof. Despite the damp ground, my feet or socks were not wet. Now I use them every day for work. I have someโ€ฆ

Be sure to increase the size! Great shoes!

I've wanted to buy La Sportiva trail running shoes for a long time, but I hesitated to buy them online because I heard they run small. I went to the La Sportiva website to read reviews and sizing info and adjusted as recommended. I usually wear a women's size 9 with a medium to medium fit. I ordered 9/10 and they fit perfectly! I just got them and despite the rain I decided to walk through my forest. The terrain is definitely technical, with gravel, rocks, roots, hills, wet leaves and pineโ€ฆ
