Use this tape to wrap wooden ax handles and other tools before wrapping them with paracord. Works great! Easy to use and really sticks to the wood surface. The paracord really stays in place! I had to redo a project when the tape sat on the wooden handle for several weeks leaving a faint black mark on the surface, but that wasn't a problem as I had rewound it anyway. Just upside down. Great price, great performance. Highly recommended!

I haven't used this type of tape in a while and you will definitely find it easier to have a pair of scissors to get a clean edge rather than tearing it up. I've used it to pick up a Cold Steel Bushman - a smack from the end of the blade to the hilt and then another back to the ricasso - much better than bare steel.
