I ordered this because it was stated that it would fit 3/8 inch OD hose. The ones I have can work with 1/8" tubing. Not at all happy about that

I don't believe that this rating reflects the QUALITY of the product. They appear to be well made. But they don't fit my application so I couldn't use them. Clamp size - inch to metric, extended to rest etc. I would consider a "number system" that you can use to match the pipe and clamp Since the clamps have such a low stretch range, they really MUST be the right size.

Will not fit 1/4 polyurethane fuel line, you can rebuild it but then it will be permanently bent and will not seal. You should be able to fully open the spring clip without permanently deforming it, they may work for a 3/16 fuel line.

I've encountered a lot of confusion with matching pipe size to clamp size - inch to metric, expanded to rest, etc. I would suggest a "number system" you can use to match pipe to clamp. Because the clamps have such a low stretch range, they really NEED to be the right size. So be careful.

These are repackaged spring clips that are identical in appearance and size to the US made Hillman 59732 clips. The maximum opening for these clamps is 0.38", which is 3/8". So measure the outside diameter of your hose or pipe. If it is more than 3/8 inch these clamps WILL NOT FIT. All clamps of this type have a very tight adjustment/fit range, choose wisely…
