Very cool, if not perfect (to me). They are very easy to assemble (bar ends on the side) and can be removed at the marked ends to protect against theft when city traffic is closed. Once you've gotten used to the rear-view mirror, you hardly ever drive without it. It doesn't replace the over-the-shoulder look, but it does add a level of awareness and security that I appreciate. I have a road bike and do long tours. It's hard at first to see movement in the mirror coming from behind until it's pretty close, but for me it gets better with use over a couple of rides. Visibility is better when falling in drops since the eyes are closer to the mirrors. Worst of all, the mirrors can easily be knocked out of the pivot then fall off the bike and get lost.
