Description of 🔪 Spyderco Lightweight Kitchen Utility Knife with MBS-26 Stainless Steel Blade – Efficient and Durable Cooking Knife

An Improved Classic - Spyderco's involvement in kitchen knives dates back to the early 1980's. After being discontinued a number of years ago, they are now back by popular demand and better than ever. Superior Quality - It features a premium MBS-26 stainless steel blade, ground exceptionally thin and meticulously heat treated for optimal cutting performance. Multipurpose - The K05 Utility Knife has a 4.48-inch drop-point blade that offers an excellent balance of control and cutting performance. This makes it incredibly versatile and adaptable to many kitchen cutting chores and utility applications. Ergonomic - Its Durable polypropylene plastic handle is injection molded directly onto the tang of the blade and features a distinctive "stepped" texture pattern that provides exceptional comfort and control during use. Made for the Kitchen - The K05 is available with a black handle and your choice of a PlainEdge or a SpyderEdge blade with a unique two-step serration pattern that protects the edge from dulling on cutting boards.

AFTER ALL! The best knife in the world is back!

My husband and I bought two of these knives a few decades ago. They quickly became our kitchen essentials - and one still is (the other was accidentally messed up in the dishwasher and the handle ended up falling apart). We gave them away but then the company stopped making them, much to our dismay. We are very happy to have them back! While I would have preferred a black handle (just a fancy thing), the knife itself is every bit as good as its big brother. Razor sharp, cuts meat or vegetables…

  • Looking forward to it

SO GREAT PURCHASE, SO VERY EXCELLENT FOR MY USE, cuts very well.

YOU SHOULD BE MORE CAREFUL THAN WITH A "REGULAR" KNIFE OF ITS SIZE, ESPECIALLY UNTIL YOU ARE PREPARED. I HAVE SEVERAL SPYDERCO SHORT BLADE FOLDING KNIVES FOR WORK (INCLUDING THE SALTWATER KNIVES), I'VE USED THEM TO COOK SOME OF THEM AND LOVE IT. THIS LONG, SPYDERCO-STYLE, serrated BLADE IS EVEN BETTER FOR COOKING FRUITS, VEGETABLES, FILLETS OF FISH, MEAT AND EVEN CHICKEN. Fantastic product: Knife

This is a fantastic product for the money. Super sharp edge for years to come. I would recommend this product to everyone. I would advise people new to this to be careful as you can easily cut yourself until you know how sharp it is. Great buy for the money and benefits for years to come. Update 1 - 2020 I noticed that Revain is no longer for sale. Spyderco kitchen knives, I consider it a grave mistake to stop making a quality kitchen knife. When I came back to buy it as a gift, to my surprise…

Great sharp spider good for knives

Great knife if you want to cut cardboard products etc. Single side serrated blade if you are left handed ready if you are cutting with a chefs knife or double blade, the cut is beveled in the middle but this blade shaves the side with the teeth, still a great knife but not for fine ones or fast knife work or fast cutting etc. suitable. I love Sylerco pocket knives, it's a good self-defense weapon if you're under attack in the kitchen.

Fairy knife for knives

My favorite knife. I had an over 30 year old gift given to me by my late husband which was accidentally destroyed by a visitor. I was so sad for sentimental and functional reasons. So I was thrilled to find that they are still in production. The new guy does a great job in the kitchen. I choose to hand wash mine and dry thoroughly after each use. I think dishwashers/detergents can ruin good knives. Watch out for expensive knives and they will last a long time. Black is the base, but I have to…

Keep looking for Power & Hand Tools

The pen is bad, I mean the dollar store quality could be better. A bit small for the blade length. The teeth are a very functional pattern, but they lose their usefulness due to the fragility of the blade. It tends to wander and is not as handy as other knives. I mean he has issues with Apple, so frustrating. Don't walk through it, just feel like it's wandering. It basically looks like a replica of a knife I would love to use a lot, with a better grip and less blade curvature. A Spyderco fan…

Excellent knife suitable for power tools and hand tools

This is a worthy knife. Fits well in the hand and cuts well. I really like the Spyderedge tines. Sometimes I get a small amount of rust where the blade enters the handle. I wash the knife by hand and leave it point up in the drainer. I'm sure it's contributing to the problems. It doesn't matter much. I use the knife often and probably once a month I notice a little surface rust at the joint of the handle that wears out. I think it depends on the humidity and how long the knife stays wet on any…

Trusty Rusty for hand tools

Hello, I'm a widower so I cook what I really like and I'm also a big fan of the Spyderco brand (I'm an edged guns collector and I have a pair of blades from Spyderco) and one day I saw these kitchen / cooking blades so I decided to try them, I have several and they are just AWESOME! I use them all the time, they stay sharp, they're easy to manipulate, I'm so glad I have them! BUT, I hand wash the dishes and 99% of the time I dry them off and put them away, well Sunday night had one of my…
