GARBAGE! DO NOT BUY the best optics

junk! I'm pretty tech savvy but I bought 4 of these and none of them took pictures. Yes, I was right. I called support and they said they needed an update. Sorry, but what's the use of a brand new product that needs updating? Went with Moultrie couldn't be happier. Stay away from the spy point. Customer service is terrible. Click in English and get a foreigner who barely understands. Would get a minus if the option was available.

Great camera, good for taking pictures

I've had it for about 6 weeks and am very happy with it. Even after reading some negative reviews I thought for such a price I'll give it a try. Well I'm very happy with that. I didn't have high expectations so I wasn't disappointed. The picture quality is not very good, but much better than I thought. I think the quality is ok for a trail camera. Night photos are good too! After the purchase, a few friends decided to try it and were satisfied. I definitely recommend this camera!

GARBAGE! Returned for a refund! Looking for QUALITY not junk

I bought this because of the compact design and price. Signal (Verizon) which is also my carrier. He submitted 1 photo out of about 200 within 4 days. Battery life has increased from 100% to 39% over the same period. I have been using trail cameras for over 15 years and have tried many brands but this is my first phone camera. The hunt for a quality cell phone camera continues. Based on my experience with this device, I would not buy another one and would not recommend it to anyone. I'm…

Software cannot be updated

The camera works as advertised. Set up was easy enough. I cannot update the software. I bought 2 of these cameras, the temperature is 10-20 degrees lower than the actual one. The image quality is average for a camera in this price range. Cellular works well. I like the option to subscribe for just one month. I use a 12 volt battery for my cameras and expect it to last all deer season. When I used AA batteries they lasted about 2 weeks. I would say average for the camera. It uses red light for…

So far so good with trail and trail cameras

I've had one of these cameras out in the woods for about a week and it seems to be working fine. There is a delay between the moment he takes the picture and the moment you receive it. This delay varies, which is still the reason for my 4-star rating. For the price, however, they seem hard to beat. I have a "free" plan - 100 photos per month. I make sure to burn it every month. I just bought another one based on my experience. I like that I have some information about the deer before I head to…

Terrible customer service - not impressed!

This review comes after almost a year of ownership of this product. I was very happy to receive this camera in November 2020 as my first camera trap. Setup was easy, cell service worked well even in the country where I live. Lots of options to set the schedule and frequency of recordings. Image quality isn't as good as other cameras, but this one is a lot cheaper. I chose a spy camera because I needed a free photo transfer plan option (100 photos per month for free). I think you get what you…

Works as advertised

I had some trouble getting the camera to work properly but was able to set it up at home and get it working. Along the way I updated the firmware and did a factory reset. The best part is that you have unlimited transfers for the first month, so it really helps to get that comfort level at which it works. Once I had to contact support via live chat and it was successful. I then took it to the field to install and to my surprise the cell signal was pretty good and the camera transmitted images…

Worked great, now suddenly junk

I bought this camera to set up a more remote piece of land to see what there was to hunt. At first it worked beautifully, getting photos of squirrels, coyotes and even a neighbor's cow. After I changed the batteries, everything went wrong. It started draining the batteries like a dripping bucket, making wireless communication pointless as I had to go back multiple times to change the batteries. Now all of a sudden it either stops taking pictures or doesn't send them to SpyPoint app. I'm very…
