Great bike brake pads and parts

I had a 50 mile gravel race, 4500 climbs/losses on muddy roads. I put these pads on the day before and they worked great throughout the race despite being covered in mud.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Repair

Working Great: Brake Pads

Replaced original Tektro pads with sintered pads. New pads refused to sit. Replaced them with these and everything changed. The stopover was great. Delivery, fit and finish were fantastic.

  • Price
Cons
  • Will be added later

but maybe it helps to ensure proper caliper alignment from the start

Fits very tight when installed, but maybe it helps to ensure good caliper alignment from the start. After two short rides, the friction disappeared and the surfaces became flush with the rotors.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Ideal for OEM cycling

Replaced my original pads and springs with these parts on my TRP Spyre brakes. The fit was perfect and they are so easy to install. It's just a clamp and a 3mm socket head screw and plug and play. I have a very good life on the original (5000 miles) and expect the same from this set.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

My brakes feel like new again.

After watching a few videos on how to properly replace my Trek CrossRip I was up and running in about 10 minutes. Most of the time I cleaned and fixed the brake piston. I think I drove 5 miles to scrape the pad for optimal braking performance. I will buy it again for the rear brake.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Vulgarity

A slight pressure on the brake lever is sufficient.

With the first light touch of the brake lever, the grip quality of these disc brake caliper pads was immediately apparent. pin by carefully removing the retaining clip on one end. Just for fun, and also to ensure smug professionalism, consider a printout of the well-written David Arthur: Everything You Need to Know About Disc Brake Pad Replacement, found via Google. Happy trails.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Zero

Spring Included: Easy Install

This is a very good setup for my TRP Spyre brakes. Be careful not to lose the small cotter pin; They can be a problem to find them. Mechanics advise being careful NOT to touch the braking surfaces of the pads or the rotor itself, that's about it. Haven't taken them to the road yet, but once I've broken them in they seem to be a little more "exciting" than the OEM pads. This is a welcome change for me. I order a replacement set. BTW I live in Appalachia and weigh 210. Previous OEM pads lasted me

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • No Automatic
