I will weld a pipe to make money. I try to gently hold the burner while moving the cup, but this burner's neck bends too easily. Before that I would recommend Weltec or CK.

After a year of fairly intensive (for an amateur) use, it's holding up well, no complaints. Combined with the CK Superflex hose, this was a huge improvement over the stock size 17 torch that came with my machine. When not riding high current the Series 9 is much more maneuverable, even more so with the flex head.

Everything is basically like a welding torch. The only difference is that the back cover doesn't sit on the back of the burner like a real WP-9, which doesn't bother me. Everything is screwed and sealed as it should be. I usually use it daily, but it doesn't flex when I don't need it. I've had my flashlight for a few months now and will have no hesitation in buying another one. I am happy.

There is nothing shiny about this torch. Came in a zipped package. But I didn't make this purchase because of the marketing. I bought it because I sent my welder off the shop for repair and got a Type 17 air-cooled torch with gas valve for rent.
