Expensive but great product!

Excellent product. Expensive but you get what you pay for. I installed them on my Giant Advance Trance. I drove the old ones for a few years. They are very quiet and braking performance is significantly better.

Pros
  • Brake parts
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Fits well on my SRAM mountain bike brakes

No complaints. Nice and sticky. Although I change them very often, often by 50%, this way I keep maximum braking power when going uphill and downhill. It would be nice if they were a little cheaper considering how often I change them.

Pros
  • Sport and Outdoor
Cons
  • Useless features

Our rides include a lot of long downhill stretches (3-5 miles)

I've tried other brands of organic pads and while they're 'cheaper' they tend to be noisy (squeaky). But the SRAM Trail/Guide Organic are always very efficient and quiet. I wish they had lasted a little longer. Our rides include many long DH segments (3-5 miles) that require more braking than usual (steep climbs). And I can ride about 300 miles on these pads. But the quality is worth it.

Pros
  • Biking
Cons
  • Good
