Big difference! - Shocks, Struts and Suspension

The Sumo springs were fairly easy to install and made a world of difference in the suspension of the rear of our F250 when it was pulling 10,000 lbs, 32 feet. silverback. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Sold in pairs (left and right)
Cons
  • Operating Speed

The hardest part was removing the old fenders.

I have a 2012 F250 FX4 6.7 Diesel with no rear anti-roll bar or overload springs and it has the factory ride height. I regularly tow a 12,000 pound trailer and this is the only time I've noticed that sumo springs are fitted. They behave like additional airbags, only with a constant ideal pressure. My unladen ride isn't much different than driving with a trailer, and my steering is more efficient as the heavy tongue no longer lifts my front end in the air. I honestly went this route to reduce…

Big difference! Fits leaf springs and parts

The Sumo springs were fairly easy to install and made a world of difference in the rear suspension of our F250 when towing a 10kg 32ft Silverback. I highly recommend this product.

Pros

Cons
  • Some minor things

Cheaper than airbags and works great.

After my Firestone airbags deployed due to road debris, I installed sumo springs. The truck drives quietly and the ride is even better than with airbags. I regret spending almost $1000 on bags instead of trying them out first.

  • Automotive
Cons
  • Expensive

Like my Sumo on shocks, struts and suspension

My truck weighs 9000 pounds as you can see from the photos. The Sumo springs have raised the rear end 1 inch and it no longer sits on the rear end from g forces. Definitely more stable but still grips the road well, coping well with big potholes and bumps. bed and hauling a 10,000 pound load. Before photo on the left and after photo on the right
