🔥 SSRT Soldering Tip Kit for STSSVT by Stahl Tools - 4 Piece Review

These are high quality soldering tips. I use them to solder microphone and speaker wires when installing a sound system in a building. They are easy to change and heat up quickly. The tip size is perfect for my work. I highly recommend these tips.

Purchased tips for OK Industries SA-G-50 soldering iron. The tips need to be cut off a bit to fit the soldering iron tube. To measure, dip the tips into the soldering iron and cut off the length. The tips work great and give new life to my old soldering iron.

Excellent replacement for the steel soldering iron. Comes with 5 different tips but I really only use 1 type (needle tip) and it would be better for me if they were all the same. I don't think I'll ever use some of the tips that come with the package, so the value is diminishing for me.

Just the right thing to give various tips for modern electronics repairs. Not ideal for surface mount and solder repairs. But for the combination of the price of these tips and the first device, everything you can expect. That seems to be all for options with this manufacturer/product.

These tips are exactly the same as when buying a Stahl SSVT soldering station. I think these are excellent quality tips! As long as you know how to properly solder and tin them, I don't see any problems/disadvantages in this. I'm glad it exists and I needed a chisel point. I stuck to the cone that came with the station. IF you have this station and need advice, use it! You will not regret your purchase! For those trying to find replacement tips for the above station they will fit with a little modification. The tips are the same diameter as the original tip and the small stop collar is in the right place and the right size. The length going into the barrel is too long and needs to be quickly cut and filed with a hacksaw. You need to cut off about 3/4 inch. Use the original as a template. The whole thing took 5 minutes. They heat up well and are great for keeping an old OK Industries station…

One more quick review to join and praise these tips. They seem to heat up evenly and quickly and have worked very well with the limited wattage I've used them for (a few odd jobs so far). They were a great replacement for the fake soldering station (temperature controlled model ER SD-203) I got almost 15 years ago as a student. I have ordered several sets of SSRT soldering tips from Stahl Tools (Parts Express) since I bought an SSVT soldering station over a year ago. Compared to the soldering iron tip offered by Weller (25W SP-23) in the same price range, these SSRT tips are definitely better. Weller tips degrade with prolonged use throughout the day, and the word "accuracy" certainly doesn't apply to them.
