These cable ties are probably stronger than what you bolt them to. I placed them all over the inside of the old trailer to use with the bungee to keep things from bouncing up and down the road. They work great.

I ordered these because of the price although I thought I would sacrifice a little size for what I wanted to do with them. A pleasant surprise when they arrived and were the perfect size for my project.

They are MUCH more powerful than I expected. The first problem is that the D is not held in place by the screw part, they are separate parts which means the D will rub against your surface. Second, during installation, D is poorly fastened and will rattle. I solved both problems with two turns of electrical tape.

I have used these as temporary brackets on a timber trailer while moving across the state. I was able to place them exactly where I needed them and they worked great. I squeezed them tight with the ratchet straps and none of them came loose during the 350 mile ride. They are bright and beautiful looking. Stainless steel does not rust and the price seemed very reasonable to me.

I don't normally give 5 stars because I think there is always room for improvement but these D rings are an exception. Yes 5 stars! The ones I received are as close to perfection as I can expect. They didn't have enough time to see if they rusted though, here in North Texas we had an unusual rainy season and they showed no signs of rusting.
