Stainless Phillips Screw Bolt Dropper Review

Purchased to complete garage shelving installation. When I screwed the first one in (after drilling the pilot holes) it snapped almost 3/4" into place! I've never had this before so I figured it was just an accident. The next one worked fine but the next 2 broke too! When I put 12 screws in, 6 accidentally broke off like branches. I've never experienced anything like this with wood screws of this size. I can only assume that they are of below average quality. I certainly do not recommend them…

Pleasantly surprised by these stainless steel screws. I bought these to install a 3 foot long piano hinge on a red oak hope chest I was building for my granddaughter. Cannot praise the seller enough. My order appeared to arrive promptly even though I'm in a somewhat remote area which usually takes an extra day to arrive and we got the screws the same day. They are made of 304 stainless steel and over time I've learned to come to terms with the fact that this is a fairly soft alloy. A while back I designed and 3D printed a 4x6 guitar speaker enclosure (four 6 inch speakers). Some design flaws prompted me to design, print, and install some reinforcement plates, which I installed with short #8 screws. I decided to print another unique guitar speaker enclosure, 2x10 (two 10 inch speakers).
