Fantastic in 3/8 plywood

I installed the e-rail in my new cargo trailer but was only able to hit the metal frame members in 3 places on the 5 foot e-rail section. I wanted the E-rail to be more securely attached to the 3/8" thick plywood walls. These wood screws exceeded all of my expectations. I pre-drilled pilot holes to ensure a good grip. To risk the screws release easily and attach very securely I probably went for the kill with 25 bolts in each 5ft section of the E-rail but I am very confident that the system…

Well Made Fasteners

These screws are well made and well priced. Many people don't think about what goes into the decision to buy a screw for a specific job. Obviously length is important, but often, like in this case, I need to know the hardness of the wood (relatively) when I need to drill a pilot hole, how much shear or tension the screw has to endure to do its job, its ability to resist corrosion and aesthetics.
