Perfect fit Problems with idle and starting solved

I've had high starts and fluctuating idle for a while, so I bought a cheaper IAC. Needless to say it didn't fit properly and didn't solve the problem that had me looking for vacuum leaks that didn't exist and this part solved both problems in 5 minutes. I'm a complete idiot for not posting the money. for the reliable part.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

It did the job :) Good for fuel injection

I purchased this throttle position sensor part and installed it within an hour. My son's 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee had trouble starting and ran at very low rpm on the first start of the day. As soon as we swapped out both parts, it immediately started idling at 1000 rpm. He was so proud that we did it ourselves and the mechanic wanted to charge us $225 just for the labor.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Legacy model

Standard - good price, great product.

Great IAC replacement for 04 TJ! Only rode a few hundred miles but immediately decided the crank wouldn't engage until you fixed the gas problem. You'll need to pull the throttle body out and replace it with a torx. So, with all this in mind, maybe buy an intake manifold throttle body gasket in case yours gets fried.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Fits

This product was purchased to replace the idle control valve. This product works just as well as factory gear and has a nice solid metal construction rather than cheap plastic like some. NO error codes or unusual behavior caused by this product for over 300 miles on and off road to date. Be sure to clean the throttle body and IAC housing area before installing a new one.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

happy 99tj - fuel system

My check engine light came on the other night so I opted for Advanced Auto. Of course it was the idle control sensor so I bought one for 68.00. When I got home I wondered why I bought that I had plenty and good quality on my new amazon. I chose this one and couldn't be happier. The one he removed was made in Mexico, so it was probably original. He took it to the road and said it was much more responsive and felt like it had more torque, so it's impossible to tell how long the old one was bad…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Great product at a fantastic price

Great product at a fantastic price. Auto parts stores wanted triple what I paid for it at Revain. My jeeps were idling down to 500rpm when I stopped for lights, stop signs, etc. So I did a little research and found that I needed to replace the idle air control sensor. Installation was easy and only took about 20 minutes. in order to do this. The old one was original and had 157,000 miles on it. The old one was worn and dented. Now my jeep idles great with no issues. Thanks for a great product…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • will write to you later

Worked for me, solved my problem

My 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ would stall at idle sometimes and wouldn't start even on the first take off after landing. It turned until I could smell fuel. When I started the engine and pressed the gas pedal, it started. My old IAC was the culprit and this one fixed it. The jeep should start and accelerate to around 1500 rpm, then settle to 750 rpm after a minute or two of idling. The IAC works by bypassing the throttle by letting air into the engine intake at start because you don't press the gas…
