💨 Efficient Idle Control with Standard Motor Products AC524 Idle Air Control Valve Review

Much cheaper than elsewhere and still appears to be just as good quality. With my Wrx 03, the idle has cleared up quite well.

In the end everything works. The great thing is that it comes with a new gasket and bolts so you don't have to go to the dealer to buy something else.

Not keeping idle properly, tech support and warranty didn't help. Forward or enter a new number to call just to leave a message. I'll keep trying but I won't buy from Standard again no matter what the result.

Used on my 2002 wrx. I cleaned up an old IACV and that only helped for a while. This new block came with a new gasket (this is a dealer/online not part of a parts store) and new bolts! These pads stretch A LOT to the point where they can't be trusted to be reused. This IACV appears to have a thicker mating surface, resulting in a more secure, leak-free fit. Drain the remaining (capacitive?) 12V several times. You should see your odometer disappear. The computer goes through the learning process
