Terrible purchase.

This product is without a doubt the worst electronic car part. In order for it to be a necessary part for night driving, it's poorly constructed with loose terminals (causing a short circuit) and cheap plastic that cracks when connected to the wiring harness. This was with the first order and the replacement they sent out.

Proper Replacement - Interior

I purchased this headlight switch to replace a very tired switch on my '97 Wrangler. Sent and received quickly. This is an exact match and replacement for the OEM switch already installed. I will update this review if this switch doesn't live up to standards and hopefully it will last as long as the last one which was 21 years old.

Perfect fit for 97 Wrangler

Easy assembly and perfect fit for my 97 Wrangler. The wires are separated from the original and plugged into this block. It only took a Phillips screwdriver to remove the device - you might want to check out the installation instructions on YouTube. Simply remove the lower dash covers on the Jeep, press the button on the old unit to remove the pull switch, then unscrew the unit from the dash (using the hole the pull switch was removed from) and take it off to replace them.

Spend your money on another brand.

I just hooked mine up, exactly the same problem as 3 other reviews. Headlights work, headlights work. But the running lights (gauge lights, taillights, side indicators, etc.) only work when I swing them halfway in. As soon as I pull it out all the way, all the headlights work only the headlights. It is also necessary to hold the rotatable part of the charging light. I only post this for others.

Drop in fit: style

exact fit works perfect plugs are correct only problem in the packaging Manufacturer's packaging was not enough to soften the sides of the switch and two pieces of plastic were broken on the sides but the switches themselves work fine, the fitting worked flawlessly, the connectors are correct, the only problem is the packaging, the packaging provided by the manufacturer was not enough to soften the sides of the derailleur and two pieces of plastic were broken off. side, but the switch itself…

99 TJ - Perfect Fit

1999 Wrangler Sahara with the headlight switch that was "on Fritz". I had to wiggle, push/pull, and sometimes smack it to make it work properly. Sound familiar? This replacement switch installed in less than 15 minutes and fits perfectly. Nothing more to say. It fits, works, and the quality of the hardware seems pretty high. If I have problems with it later, I will change this rating. But for now it's just 5 stars. Disconnect the battery, unscrew the two screws on the console under the steering
