🔥 Enhanced Ignition Module Control Unit - Standard Motor Products LX203T Review

My terminals on my ignition module control box were broken so I ordered a replacement and got it 2 days later with mainline shipping. Same as the original part that was on the truck and works great. Would I buy again and recommend.

I actually bought this as a replacement as it popped out while shopping and it was a great price, I can't confirm the performance as I didn't install everything , but it's not the blue hub for my AMC and everything looks kosher on it, standard red box, part made in China.

Fits my 84 f150, has been running for over a year with no problems, both hot and cold, holds up great, I recommend lifting it off the fender about a half inch with shims, it helps keep It Cooler I was skeptical given the price but it was ok

My old CJ was missing and squirting. After replacing the fuel pump and filter, it was still missing after warming up. After searching the forums I finally came across someone who mentioned a faulty ignition module. The next morning I found it on the engine compartment wing and it melted. After replacing the original AMC module, the old lady works perfectly again.

My SCJ 460 Ford setup had a green socket ignition module and when it failed I installed this module with a blue socket and who cares who needs an MSD ignition box, mine Truck is much better and it turned out that the green grommet could be wrong all along, it should have gained 25-30 hp. and possibly the same torque. Thank you Standard Motor Products for such a great product.

I suffered from random stops and poor starts, some days there was no problem, other days my old F150 stopped at a junction and started straight away. Thought I'd give this module a try and so far so good, I've never had a truck stop since I installed it and it seems to be running smoother, I feel like it's been gone for a while. When these modules fail, attempts to troubleshoot the problem are frustrating due to the random nature of the failure.

I bought this ignition module for my 1978 Ford F150 because I thought the original 41 year old unit was defective. As it turned out, the problem was with the inductive sensor in the manifold, as corrosion was affecting the wiring. I had a spare in the glove box, changed it and the engine started right away. Since I already installed the new ignition module, I left it in. I'm fine so I'll leave it there and leave the original on a spare. Five stars for what works as intended.
