Fan motor resistor

Great replacement part. Looks better than the factory part. Fixed an issue with missing mid speeds of the fan motor. Ease of installation.

Works perfectly! suitable for spare parts

The part looks like the original part. Now the fan has all 4 speeds (the first 3 are inoperative). It smells slightly burnt but those coils get very hot so I'll wait for the part to burn through. In the photo is the place where the old part was.

Works well but smells (like something burnt) when .

Works fine but smells (as if burnt) when the fan is running at any speed other than full speed. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's coming from the fan or the resistor, but I'm assuming it's the resistor.

Perfection - Fan Motor

This is a replacement for the stock fan motor resistor in a 1990 Toyota SR5 pickup with 3VZE. My fan operated at two speeds - off and up; Replacing this part made the small fan speed knob on the dash fully functional. Installation on my car was easy, two screws were removed (just follow the passenger footwell fan wire to the connector), a connector was disconnected from the original and reconnected to this amazing piece of engineering, and two screws were reinstalled.
