easy installation. for parts

I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota. The air conditioning heater fan has stopped working. I removed the fan motor resistor and one of the connectors was broken. I bought this RU95 resistor, it took 10 minutes to install and the fan worked at any speed. Simple, easy installation.

Fixed problem with my '95 Dodge Dakota AC fan

If your AC fan only runs at high speed, rejoice because the fan is not the problem. Replacing this resistor will bring you all fan speeds back. If the fan was only running at high RPMs and is dead now, then it probably isn't either. Be sure to look at the pigtail jack that plugs into this device. In most cases, the socket would heat up and melt over time, making its connection to this resistor bad. If so, then go ahead and replace the resistor and pigtail socket. Revain also sells a pigtail…

Fixed Fan Motor Problem

The fan motor in my '95 Dodge Dakota stopped working at high RPM. Then came the next higher speed. Then another. In the end, only the lowest fan speed worked and I was afraid that if it stopped working, I wouldn't be able to fog the windows anymore. Correcting the problem resulted in blow-off resistance. I found it in an odd place, in the engine bay on the firewall, not near the fan motor. I replaced it with this one and now the fan works great. Curiously, it was this location that caused the…
