later why this review says it only works for glow plugs when the item described is the intake manifold heater relay. Is the intake heater relay much higher than the glow plug relay? confused.

This is what you need to get the air intake heater working again on 7.3LF series engines, making them a lot easier to start than glow plugs. This is the front higher relay on the passenger side of the 7.3 engine. I sold car parts in the 90's and Standard has a premium product with excellent quality, in this case it costs a lot less than a parts store or dealer.

First I had to "massage" the mounting studs to get this piece of junk to fit. When tightened to Ford specs, all the clamps were broken. Take the extra time to find a White Rodgers relay that will actually give you the torque specs for YOUR OWN PRODUCT. Unlike this piece of junk where you assume the specs are the same as the factory ones.
