It's too early to tell if this is a good product

I watched a youtube video of the installation and it seems pretty easy. However, the old PCV valve was quite caked up and stuck there. I couldn't find out. I was afraid of breaking it and creating more problems. I ended up calling the auto mechanic. Even he had trouble removing the old one and it was broken into small pieces. It remains to be seen how long this product will last. Definitely not an OEM. I'll see how it goes before the next oil change.

Rebuild the old one or buy the original

I installed this type of PCV valve on my 2007 Honda Odyssey but after that I have misfires on cylinders 1 and 5 when I click on the Rev up Autobahn 5000. I adjusted my valves and checked for vacuum leaks before finally putting in my old PCV valve and bleeding it with Brakleen. The old o-rings were flat on the Honda PCV so I removed them from the new one and put them on top of the old one. The old one works again! If you need a new PCV valve, buy an OEM, otherwise just clean it and get newโ€ฆ

Can be a tricky substitute if you're not careful.

Yes it was the right part for a 2007 Saturn Vue Redline. However, these Honda engines were not intended to be easy replacements. At least that wasn't the case for me, tk. Access looks easy, but it is less so. A vise must be used to remove the existing part. Then after the bolt was ruined it was necessary to model your own through the hardware store. Not easy, but I made it. Caution - Be very careful when removing this part to avoid tearing off the screw head. Much luck. Does the part work? Iโ€ฆ

Fixing Possible Oil Leaks

I'm not sure how often these occur, but I had a major oil leak in my 2006 Ridgeline at about 125,000 miles. It was coming out of my rear main gasket area and I was convinced I needed to replace the gasket. After reading this I decided to try replacing this part first. It took me half an hour as the old part was clogged with soot and soot and split into several pieces that had to be dug out. Under normal conditions it should be a simple bolt and move out and back in 5-10 minutes of work. After a

Not OEM like others say but seems to work.

Item arrived in a blue box in a small ziplock bag (I prefer factory packaging). No writing on the outside like in other photos. OEM made in Japan, date of manufacture etc. I would stop looking at this one and buy a Honda. It's not worth saving $5 to fit a mysterious part that fits your complicated engine. 2 stars for what really works. But I feel like I was led to believe this is an OEM. pain to get this old one. changed to 140k. Next time I'll change cars more often. Fragile, difficult toโ€ฆ

Perfect fit for 2005 Honda Odyssey

On the 2005 Honda Odyssey the PCV valve is located just below the oil dipstick (slightly to the right). I unscrewed one screw by 10 (a swivel-head ratchet will help), carefully pulled out the old one, put a new one in, tightened the screw. Literally in 5 minutes. Comes with O-rings already installed, lightly lubricate with engine oil prior to installation. I made this change because I have 198,000 miles and burn a quart of oil every 1000 miles. This has never been changed (as far as I canโ€ฆ
