Time-tested. Many years ago my father had them on his belt and I do the same. This is a great size for store projects. You don't need a giant piece of tape that stretches a quarter mile and weighs just under four pounds. I'm glad there were two packs and will buy these again if I lose them.

This is my choice. I think 16ft is perfect for holding a house. 25 foot tapes (or longer) are great for serious construction projects, but I only do them a couple of times a year.
