Stanley's Epic Packaging Error

Poor packaging. The first came open, with parts missing (crumpled box). Separately ordered replacement to receive a plastic bag also fell apart. All attempts to close the packaging and hold the bits have been unsuccessful. This was supposed to be part of a tool box gift so they come back zip wrapped. For personal use, I recommend ordering it separately to increase your chances of getting all the beats. Otherwise, it looks like a sturdy ratchet screwdriver.

Save your money! Best in Power Tools and Hand Tools

I've read about counterfeit products and think this piece of junk is one of them! At least I don't see a company as great as Stanley Tools putting their name on such a notorious product! It won't hold the ratchet position for more than a turn or two and then slips into a regular screwdriver. I bought this thinking it would make tightening the screws on my wheelchair easier, but it didn't! All I did with this thing was remove the heads from the screws. So you could say the only thing that…

Exceeded my expectations

This screwdriver is well made and I really like it. I like the ratchet function, I also like the feel of the handle, it's comfortable and it can also hold a few bits at the top of the handle. I will do no work with her, or very heavy work, but more for the general house. Use on my home appliances, PCs and other household items around the house. This will add to my collection of screwdriver sets that I don't have a handle for but mostly are sets with lots of screwdriver bits. The magnet is very…

Great and versatile screwdriver

I got this before a project I wanted to work on and it turned out to be a great tool. It looks solid and the ratchet works well. I can't comment on the durability of the tool yet, but I'll update the review if I run into any issues. A few things to note: - As another reviewer pointed out, the mechanism that locks the bit in place uses magnetism, but the bits themselves aren't magnetic. So if this is a critical issue for you, keep looking. The bit snaps in well when you push up on the tip of the

I would recommend using it with an extender for a longer, narrower tip.

Pros: It's convenient to have many bits in one driver, which saves space in the box, the ability to use alternative and/or longer bits for other work (and there are several additional open Slots in the base to store those bits) Cons: - bulky, short and not very long - ratchet puller feels pretty light which doesn't help to feel secure during use. It feels like your movements are too wild and uncontrollable - the knob for changing the lock/screw/unlock setting is pretty cheap and feels a bit…

Excellent multi-bit ratchet driver. Enormous time/labor savings!

You have no idea how much work and space it saves until you put it in your tool bag. Seriously, my tool bag used to have a dozen individual screwdrivers in various flat and Philips sizes, as well as a non-ratcheting magnetic screwdriver for all my various torx/torx/square bits. Now I have this and a few smaller space-constrained drivers. The ratchet function works great and is very useful in tight spaces and corners. The first time I used it was to remove a heavy aluminum exterior door in a…
