You have to put the key back in the cap. I'm used to only tightening the cap a few turns to get the key back in. Very uncomfortable.

This is not a difficult part but it is very important that the part fits the car. If not, you will get engine codes. Works perfect for my car

CEL arrived 3 days after use. 2016 Tacoma Limited 3rd Generation. I had to disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes to clear the CEL. switched to the original cap and has been fine ever since. Sounds like a problem at Toyota. The Saw Tundra overview exhibits the same behavior.
