Bite the bullet and buy

It may seem a bit pricey but if you are looking to install Deckfast Fascia screws on your expensive Trex panel this tool will give you great results deliver and you will be glad you bought it.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I don't remember

tool cutting.

I found that the size of the drill is slightly larger than the size of the screw and does not fit the smaller drill. I would also like to be able to adjust the depth of the drill bit. Cutting a tool that cuts to the size of the screw head doesn't cut as well. Leaves a rough finish. Other than that it worked fine.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Please check your screw diameter before purchasing!

The tool drilled the pilot hole and countersunk it correctly. However, the pilot hole was significantly larger than the screws I used. The tool did the job, but I would have preferred a smaller pilot hole for a better grip on the board. My fault for not checking the diameters. If I had to buy again I would buy a tool with multiple pilot bits.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • not trendy

A must for installing a smooth deck

This tool is perfect and reliable. You can't damage your deck or drill deep with this thing, it takes care of everything and drills the perfect hole every time. See all the screws/gaps/dips/etc unless you walk straight up to him and stand a few inches away from him.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Great find for a great finish

This tool is exactly what I was looking for! I stumbled upon this tool while looking for screws and was hesitant to spend money on it, but it does a great job installing my face boards on my deck! It's as easy as drilling a hole and leaves no marks on the board. I don't know how many materials this will be effective on, but I'll definitely try using it on other projects involving wood rather than drilling the countersink with a traditional drill bit.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Zero

PLEASE NOTE - Hardware

You must be careful to remove the shavings between each pair of holes - otherwise they will get caught and leave large marks on the front panel! I made 2 boards this way before realizing it. Now I need to replace the $60 boards so they don't have big rings around the screw holes :( other than that it worked fine - as mentioned in the reviews it dulls quickly - which then takes a lot more time. but of that which I know didn't see many other options in terms of bezel screws - not very fortunate…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good idea, poorly implemented

This tool is unfortunately a little needed to install decking. While the basic concept is great, there are a few shortcomings that turn what is actually a very handy tool into one that can be used when needed. First, there is only a small hole in the side of the body for chips to exit through. Because of the way the composite material is cut, the chips tend to be quite large and do not fall out through the hole, causing debris within the body. Blowing out a hole in the case after each hole…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, it's ok
