I have used the S668A to clamp valve stems and measure lift. The clamp is durable and easily adjustable for different positions. It's quite large and takes up a lot of space around the object it's being clamped onto.

The product itself is great but be careful the picture shows 2 sets of posts and you will only receive one. and then when you read the description like $#@$ - it says it's 1 set. Sorry for the bad review, but the picture must match the product.

This is quality. Any shaft can be aligned with it. Well pretty much anything, there are some size restrictions but don't worry it can fit around fairly large waves so even if you have a larger than usual wave that you need to measure this kit will likely fit you.
