Item arrived on time, well packaged and with no sign of tampering. Inside, the 7-port USB 2.0 hub is nicely finished with mounting screws in a nylon case. Install the product in a convenient place, I turned on the 12V 10Amp power supply, it works very well. It was a good buy. Hello Felix

Sturdy and reliable

I bought this after 4 different USB hubs were not working reliably with my telescope. I needed connectors for the mount drive, camera rail, imaging camera, filter wheel and focuser. My goal was to charge a 12V battery from my laptop using a single USB cable, and this hub did just that. Whether you're looking for a reliable hub for mission-critical applications or one that needs to run on battery power, I'd have no hesitation in recommending this device.

Expensive no matter what

Exploded on 20V DC overvoltage. The MOSFETs inside didn't seem to have any protection. "Rugged Industrial" is not. However, it is better than hubs in a plastic case.

I installed it on a Jeep JKUR and it works great. 12V power input to power the SSD and other devices connected to my main unit via USB. It looks very solid, and the presence of panel-mount style USB ports with screw terminals allows you to stay connected while you're on the go. Very happy with it!

It was very easy to assemble and install and worked great.

I bought this to hide in my truck for a custom computer setup with Windows 10. It was very easy to assemble and install and has worked great so far. It survived the summer at over 100 degrees without any problems.

Five stars for hubs

I have this above my desk and all USB devices on my desk are plugged into it: keyboard, mouse, USB audio adapter, smart card reader and spare flash ports - drives. hooked up to a 15ft powered USB extender plugged into my computer. Works perfectly.

Dynamically reassigns port names

The build quality of this hub is excellent. USB devices require industrial power supplies to power them, and they have a rugged metal housing that can be mounted on a DIN rail. From a software perspective, this hub is a bit of a headache. I'm using a hub on a Pi running Python to monitor a bunch of USB based sensors. The problem with this hub is that when new devices are connected, ALL the serial ports are remapped. Because of this, you can't just plug in serial devices, figure out what port…
