I bought a TPLink adapter and it had a blinking green LED. no way to turn it off. The signal was also pretty weak (N adapter at 25 megabits per second?), it gets almost 200 from the mains and doesn't flicker. Perfect fit for my macbook that the wi-fi port is dead on the MB

This thing looks like a small piece of junk but surprisingly it works well and saved a day on a desktop that didn't come close to a data loss. It doesn't have a huge antenna, but it captures the wireless network perfectly. Quick install on win 10.

I was trying to replace an old wifi dongle that I thought had died. Tried two or three new ones including this one and couldn't get them to work either. It turned out to be a problem with the computer, but the old key still works. So I haven't tried any of the new ones, one or two of which seem to be limited to PC and MAC.

Works very well. It's a bit fiddly to set up. I had to press the connect button on the router a few times. My speed is 160/200. I bought the top rated brand for a much higher price and had to return it. Although easier to set up, he died in less than 24 hours. Can't say anything about durability yet, but so far. Almost gave up and got this back, I found paspro/rtl8812au on github (just search for it) with working drivers for kernel 4.13! Presumably this driver works up to kernel 4.15. The instructions are very simple. It appears to be running at full speed on 5GHz 802.11n. I'm just browsing my living room, so I can't speak much within range.
