Great price for starter and parts

Bought for a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS, fits with no problems. Much cheaper than the auto parts store, more than double. Found a mechanic that could be installed in just 1 hour of work. The total cost to install and launch is $175. Other places where we don't buy an appetizer charge $450.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Great replacement for the 2011 Sonata GLS

For Sonata GLS 2011. A little noisy when starting, but it's not critical. I saved a decent amount of money by not buying a genuine Hyundai part which costs about $200 more than this one. Parts Player had a high rating so I took a chance. So far I'm happy and will only update if there are any issues.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Excellent value for money product

Definitely worth buying. The starter motor on the 2013 Kia Sorento needed to be replaced. I was offered a price three times higher than if I was picking it up. I'm sure this is because the product is American and Chinese made. This starter worked perfectly. It took forever to install due to my make and model but it had nothing to do with this product. Definitely better than the price. Shipped and received earlier than guaranteed. I would definitely recommend this product and buy it again!

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Fine

It works. for starters and alternators

Local parts store will charge around $300 for a rebuilt unit. Works great for the price, longevity is yet to be seen. The factory starter fault is the plastic plug in the unit, it breaks, it's a $15 thing. I chose this unit as I have over 200,000 miles on a 2012 4th Sorento. Installation isn't too bad if you remove the battery, airbox and throttle body and then find 2 x 14mm screws. Basically, you can't see the starter. Either way it works and hopefully works for what's left of the car's life.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Compatibility

I was sold a bad starter, don't buy it!

This starter doesn't work Don't waste your time and money Install a starter that doesn't work I put the starter in and the car wouldn't start Then I spent the weekend trying to find it Problem because I got a new starter from Revain which worked, spent all weekend fixing the car, had to tow it to a mechanic on Monday morning, the mechanic said the new starter from Revain didn't work. New starter from mechanic $240 + towing $50 + cab $22 to get to work today. I was supposed to fix this for $80…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
