We wanted to love this product to heat up our back patio. However as another reviewer stated this product only heats about 4 to 5 feet away. It did not work for what we need it.

I installed this on my garage ceiling yesterday to warm up a small area me an my wife sit. Sad to say it more of a mood light than anything I’ve turned it onto the higher setting and you can not even feel the temperature change. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and kept the garage closed and sealed left the heater on for hours and still cold in my garage. Not worth 140 bucks. My miniature space heater puts out more heat.

Great little heater that doesn’t ring up your electric bill! I smoke cigars regularly and as long as there are no strong winds (greater than 10 mph) this baby allows me to enjoy my cigar and tea in the early mornings of winter in NJ. The heater easily provides heat in a large open living, dining and kitchen area. I installed the heater inside a 12 year old large electric manel fireplace to replace a malfunctioning blower/heater assembly, much more effective heating system

This little heater puts out some serious heat! If you don’t plan to mount it on a wall and were hoping to just set it on the floor or a table please buy the floor stand that goes with it. This thing is NOT suitable for tabletop or floor usage. It isn’t balanced and will tip backwards very easily. I first ordered this product at the end of last October. The first unit arrived damaged, the glass the the filament resides in was broken. I guess I could have got my money back then, but opted for a replacement. Put the unit in service early November. It lasted 4 months. One end of the filament has become disconnected from the power source, rendering it worthless. I can't tell if the metal just melted, or physically broke off.
