Replaced stock Ford Mustang GT TR3650 rear derailleur with Crown Vic hand pump - what a difference it makes! Very firm feel and smooth shifting. Also paired with a DEWHEL Black/Red 5Rdr M12 X 1.75 Aluminum K05 5 Speed Shift Knob which also compliments this shifter nicely.

Significant improvement in handling, I don't race or ride hard but it makes gear selection much easier. No more inter-clutching because you're not sure if you're in gear. A slight increase in noise and vibration and some rumble when shifting gears, but it's worth it. Easy installation, removing the plastic trim is the hardest part. I would also recommend a gasket between the derailleur and gearbox, I cut one out of 1/32 thick sheet metal gasket material.

My 2001 Cobra SVT is like new (16,000) miles so the derailleur is not worn. However, I have never been satisfied with it. This Steeda device wasn't very expensive, so I decided to give it a try. Installation was fairly easy, taking less than an hour using standard mechanic's tools. To be honest, the Steeda shifter isn't much different than normal in daily driving.
