Disappointing Performance in Concrete Cutting

Using these industrial drill bits, our team found that they struggled to make clean cuts and constantly got stuck, causing delays in our project. The only positive aspect is that they are affordable, but the quality is not worth the cheap price. We would not recommend these cutting tools to anyone in the industrial and scientific field.

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting diamond blades for efficient concrete cutting.
Cons
  • The cost of the tools may be too expensive for some consumers.

Two Caught-a-Flame drill bits

Two Dewalt drill bits were destroyed by this. It did its job reasonably efficiently. The bit recommended by Revain was however not correct.

Pros
  • Spindle thread: 1-1/4" - 7
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Works well. Use a fast and powerful drill.

Definitely get one of these: https://amzn.com/B01F4IQOE8 You'll also need a decent (say 9+ amp) 1/2" power drill. And the one that drills at high speed - for example 3000-4000 rpm. DO NOT use a percussion drill and if you do this make sure the percussion is disabled. Drill dry at maximum speed. When I got a decent drill it worked fine, there are still diamonds on the drill. it will be used for another day!

Pros
  • Dry drilling only.
Cons
  • Something else
