Just what I need for axle tools

Tried installing seals without this tool. Finally gave up and bought this one. I'm glad I did, I installed the gaskets with it in minutes.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Maddening

It worked! good for steering and suspension tools

It worked but it ends up damaging something you can hit it with a hammer to install the wheel seal or if you have a press, it will likely stay in good shape

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor issues

THE PERFECT TOOL for pain in the neck!

Perfectly attaches the outer seal to the front hub assembly at the correct depth and does not destroy the seal. Life just got easier.

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Something different

The best return on your money!

Best price I could find but still a ridiculous amount of money for a piece of metal with no moving parts! At least you can vent your frustration by beating him to hell!

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Hard to say

Hub seals require installation

The vacuum seal for the hub is pressed in and this tool ensures the correct depth on the axle shaft and in the hub. Worked great. Now I need a friend to install seals that will flow on his Ford truck.

Pros
  • Nice to use

Works great with steering and suspension tools

This 6695 axle installer works great on 99-04 Superduty and Excursion. I used this tool on my 2002 Ford Excursion. While there are ways to install the oil seal without one, this tool saves time and ensures you don't damage the oil seal and also ensures the axle shaft is at the correct depth. If you damage the seal you could lose the vacuum to engage the autolock hubs. This particular tool is sturdy and appears to be durable, although I've only used it twice.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

Worked great in no time.

I recently moved to Maine from Idaho, but before I could start driving I needed to do more than minor repairs. Including bearings and seals but this was my first time so I watched all the videos but none of them mentioned the need for a press. So, after much googling, I found this beauty. It came to prom fast as a teenager and got me on the road with new bearings, seals and races. It's heavy and requires the use of a vise or other clamp and stability, but it works and is very durable. 4 out of…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
