Getting Started. This thing cannot be used to rotate your work while cutting. The lead screw that rotates the table is not centered on the shaft so it wobbles as it rotates causing the nut on the underside that holds the table to bind and loosen. This leads to poor finish and broken bits as the table tilts when you pull the lever to lock it, it raises or lowers when you change direction, and moves up and down when you turn it.

My opinion largely coincides with the opinion of Yankeeprod. This item is far from perfect, but it can be made to work and the price is right. I also spent half a day playing around with it to get it set up and working properly. The only real stench was that the threads holding the table to the base were so twisted that it couldn't be taken apart. Presumably they felt there were customers who would ruin it if they opened it. A little work with a dremel and a tiny diamond wheel did the trick…
