While the gasket itself is HD and I'm sure the 3m adhesive that comes with it is good, I'm by no means alone in trusting these things. keep my 2 converters at $400 year after year. I put 3m of 5200 around the perimeter of the boards for extra security and peace of mind.

Easy to use and avoids drilling too many holes in the case. I would suggest using a 1.25" self tapping screw or two to hold this in place in addition to the glue. No boat has a perfectly flat back like the manual calls for, so I doubt the sticky pad will last long.

This product worked well and was exactly as described. I really didn't want to drill into my boat's transom to install a fish finder and was happy to find this mounting system. It installed fairly quickly and easily once I figured out where it would fit best. I had to cut it to match the slope of the hull and then make a notch around the bolt on the transom, but once that was done it was easy.

I had high hopes for this product, installed it according to the instructions, waited the set time according to the instructions, and the kayak was only in the water twice before it failed. Yes, it came loose and dangled. I'm not sure what my next action will be; Screw the transducer into the kayak or try to improve traction on it. Definitely not satisfied and DO NOT recommend this product.

I screwed up but it's not very forgiving to start with. I placed it on my boat and my transom wasn't quite straight and I barely managed to grab some of the bottom welds. The outer ring clamps, but the middle one doesn't clamp at all. I only found out because I set it too low. Again, I know I messed up the setup by getting bottom welds, but it wasn't as forgiving as other liquid glue products.

Bought this pad to avoid drilling the mirror. I followed the instructions and put some nylon ties over it to hold it in place after gluing it on. I've been on the water a few times and had no problems. I attached a large transducer to it, which is quite heavy.
