I like the way the tip holds the electrode securely. You can bend the electrode at any angle without protruding. Great improvement in welding.

Holds the bars very well, very good quality but the handle comes off and you have to be careful where you put your singer, not for construction work, I would only use it at home.

It was more than I could have asked for. Captures 1/16 to 3/16, slag and bbs are easy to scrape off. If you watch this you're probably spending more money on alcohol and silly stuff so give it a try.

I love this tip and was going to give it 5 stars but on the second day of welding the pivot bolt came loose and lost the damn nut. SMH is falling apart. At the moment it is operational. .

Excellent quality, every part is interchangeable, holds the electrodes so well that they can be bent to any position you want, because not everyone sits at the welding table! You just can't get the bar out until you let go of it. The V shaped collar will wear out over time but it can be replaced which will take years and still hold the rods very well. I was really looking forward to this tip. Everyone has them on the line so I decided to give it a try. I was excited for the first few days. about a week of intensive use. This thing would start buckling the tube if it touched anything. Big problem in my career. then hot passes uphill from 3/32. are now impossible as the only caliper that holds a bar will not hold a bar of that size after a week. This is a great option. It holds any size electrode very well and is made of high quality machined brass and steel. Before writing this review I did a decent time test. I'm a pipe welder working in large industrial and commercial operations piercing all sizes of rod and pipe with this thing and it's by far the most comfortable grip I've ever used.
