The tank is very easy to install as it is smaller than advertised. The tank is well made and looks good, but it only holds fifteen gallons of fuel, not the advertised twenty gallons. I wouldn't buy another because I have a feeling if a fuel cell is advertised as having a 20 gallon capacity, it should hold a damn 20 gallons of gas!

If you buy this, 1. Get a replacement cap from Summit Racing - the cap provided will buckle and tear and will eventually stubbornly open/won't open 2. Remove the foam immediately - it dissolved and clogged my fuel pump causing the pump to fail. In short, the only thing it's good for is aluminum. And holds less than 20 liters.

I like the tank, but there is a serious problem with the tank cap. The tank was easy to set up. We filled the tank with regular gas and when it came time to fill up again we couldn't get the cap off. After a few curses and a screwdriver, we opened the tank. Gasoline melted the bottom of the cap with the outer plastic ring. On the first day in the sun, it wasn't just the outer ring that ripped. I also don't know where to find parts.

I love the fuel cell, it looks really cool. I only have a few complaints about this which may be minor for some people but they don't give you enough caps for all of them. I ordered this fuel cell for a '65 Chevy Nova that we are restoring to bring it up to the outlaw carb class. It was bought in October 2019 but due to other issues with the car we were not able to install it and drive the car until August 2020.
