I use it for my 2 year old girl (25 months) who can't swim and is overcoming her fear of water. We used the pool 5 times. I love it. Turns her on her back unless she's actively moving or being held (which she doesn't like, but I prefer to lay her face down, which doesn't happen).

This is a super cute and comfortable/well fitting life jacket but please do not buy it on that basis. I'm writing this review to warn parents that this doesn't work! We tried this two years in a row, thinking size and weight would make a difference, but it didn't. My baby rolls on his side with it. In addition, it is not easy to clean and our only life jacket is now moldy.

After much research and inquiries I ordered some life jackets for my 6 month old to wear on the boat. This one was much more comfortable for her as it didn't lift her cheeks as much as the others but still provided the necessary lift.
