It replaces almost the same thing on the electric boat. Waterproof was important. It wasn't even dew proof, so we didn't get it wet. A cable broke as soon as I unpacked it. This is quite enough to keep an eye on the life of the main battery.

It was great! Yes, a bit pricey for a couple of wires (and a meter) but it was all there! You don't have to run to the store for 1 part that you don't have on hand. It took my husband quite a long time to install. Lucky woman – the "North Forty” never runs out of juice!

After a long time installing found that the pressure gauge shows 48V instead of 36V from the factory. Instead of removing all the cables etc, just order a similar item from another supplier and test it before installing. Customer golf cart in Florida so takes 6 months to exchange.

This gauge and installation kit had 6 feet of cord, about 1-2 feet less than needed to get from the dash to the batteries on my EZGo TXT golf cart. I expected this to increase the length based on previous reviews and purchased wires. The facility worked well. However, on the first night of rain the meter stopped working and condensation formed inside the meter making it appear as if it had tripped. Works great in my ezgo. I didn't have to use a mount, but it was nice to have that option. The cables were long enough too. I'll say I didn't realize the key plate would be so difficult to cut, but I finally got close enough to work (hint: get the right Dremel attachment!). Overall very satisfied although I don't understand why 36v is more expensive than 48v. I was tempted to make my own cables but ran out of wires which was very handy and fairly cheap. Good business.

For some reason this thing is not working. When I received it I noticed that the packaging said 48V. I bought a 36 volt display for a 36 volt system. Prior to installing I emailed if they were dual voltage indicators as I know such exist and was told it would work on any of them. So. I have an installed product that won't register. Maybe I can find a similar meter with the same connections that I can just swap out without removing it entirely. I'm just glad I didn't spend more than I did.

Great kit that has everything you need to install. Maybe a bit overpriced but for me it was worth not going out all the gear one by one. The only thing that confuses me is that it would be better if the crimps weren't preinstalled on the wires. All I needed was a tiny hole to run the wires through my dash. Running a wire through a hole with ferrules already on it would require a much larger hole. I just cut them off and put on new ones that I had to buy separately. Somehow the all-in-one…
