An insect has been crushed on one of the pages in the middle of this sketchbook. I was really fed up and couldn't bring myself to use the item. There were no other injuries.

Other colored pencil artists have advised me to use Stonehenge paper and I am very happy with this product! It takes so many layers and so much abuse while learning the environment! It makes me look better than I really am at CP-Artistik. :)

Rising Stonehedge Paper is recommended by most colored pencil artists and I bought it to draw mini portraits with colored pencils. The paper holds the color well and the pens glide smoothly across it. Although paper is a little pricey, it's worth having in your art stash.

This is a very high quality paper. I mostly draw with pencil so can't tell if it can work with markers, watercolors etc. but as a sketch pad it's fantastic. The paper has texture, but I found the reverse side to be a bit smoother, which I like better. Pencil erases easily, paper holds up very well.

Without a doubt, this is the best paper for colored pencils. The tooth is just right and the pins slide and hold just right. Is it expensive. for 15 sheets of this material. But I consider this brand to be golden. Because I can't tell you how many brands, weights, etc. of other papers I tried before I found my favorite.
