I am returning the (1) set next week. I ordered (2) sets and installed one. I don't feel comfortable using them with my expensive SUP boards. The front corner edge is too short for wide SUP boards with slightly scratched surfaces, but fits an old surfboard I keep outside on the garage wall. These luggage racks are suitable for use on surfboards. But again, I'm skeptical about putting my Naish Javelin or other specialized boards in these racks. I'll stick with softwood poles.

The thing is huge. Pay attention to the sizes!

Exactly as described but too big for a medium sized SUP board. Pay special attention to the dimensions - the rack is 11 inches from the wall. I have a 10ft 6ft epoxy board on it and need to buy a smaller pole as I have it in the hallway and the pole itself is about 2-3 inches too long and also the vertical poles up front. absolutely huge. Perhaps a 9 inch wall bar would be ideal for a SUP unless it is unusually thick.

Before anyone with no tooling experience checks this. They are great and very easy to install. I installed them on a block with a 1/4" outlet. You will need to drill a few holes, but since they are aluminum it only took a few seconds. Whether wood or block, I recommend screwing both holes. Once installed , it feels springy/loose but once the board is on it will be quite firm. At 11" in length you have room to lean your board and put your paddles on the same rack. I generally like them Very good

Stops all the boxes - five stars!

Very happy with my Naked SUP. Its understated design is great - it won't look out of place in a living room when you want to show off your boards to gain guests' trust. While mine is in the garage and there isn't much room, the low profile (it sticks out about a foot from the wall) means it doesn't get in the way. Installation was easy, just driving a couple of screws into the studs behind the drywall. The posts appear to be very strong - according to the instructions they hold about 50 pounds.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Peace of mind for indoor paddleboard storage

The main clever design part of this ultra-simple device is a small protrusion in the middle. Without a center bump, your board can rest squarely on the sharp 90-degree outside edge of these metal board holders, which can cause damage, but because they've created a small, curved edge right down the middle, your board actually rests on a full free edge, padded section, right in the middle of the wall mount. I used to have 2 wooden wall studs but then realized I didn't really like them when one of

Perfect for minimalists - and they last.

New 10.5ft 28lb SUP for my wife, not much room in our garage. It worked perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars is that the bindings definitely have some flex which makes me wonder how they will hold up over time. **Very easy installation, but I bought 3" screws and put in bolts (I wouldn't trust the drywall anchors that came with them). There were no installation instructions so I took the length of the board (10.5 feet) divided by 2 (about 5.1 feet) and that was the distance I used for weight…

Excellent purchase! Good for indoor surfboard storage

PROS: Cheap and efficient, not a $70-100 rack to store your board. While they do look gaudy compared to nice wooden/painted hooks, you only see about 10% of the entire hook. .Easy installation if you're good at math and measurements (which I'm terrible at measuring). Fairly thick/soft padding. CONS: I never used the included screws, judging by their look/feel and other reviews I had no intention of hanging a $4k SUP on them. Went to Lowe and bought 160 lb anchors and screws for a few bucks and…
