PROS: Cheap and efficient, not a $70-100 rack to store your board. While they do look gaudy compared to nice wooden/painted hooks, you only see about 10% of the entire hook. .Easy installation if you're good at math and measurements (which I'm terrible at measuring). Fairly thick/soft padding. CONS: I never used the included screws, judging by their look/feel and other reviews I had no intention of hanging a $4k SUP on them. Went to Lowe and bought 160 lb anchors and screws for a few bucks and they are strong! I have a feeling the padding will likely take on a plank shape and break down over time. There are no real instructions as to where these hooks should be. Placed on the board you definitely want them closer to the center so the board sits snugly on the soft part. The more you spread the hooks, you'll have to angle the hooks to match the curvature of your board (which I didn't do, did I do it right?) The hooks flex quite a bit, but you can't tell how I said , the anchors feel REALLY strong. Overall I still give it 5 stars, go to your local hardware store and buy some anchors and you'll be happy! Good product!
