A good product for calligraphy beginners. My daughter is very interested in different types of art, so I ordered this paper for her 13th birthday. As she practiced, I noticed the comfortable weight of the paper and how smooth it made writing with the pen. Happy with the purchase and would buy again.

I've been using these Strathmore notebooks since I started calligraphy in 2014. In general, I like notebooks, but they are not suitable for all types of calligraphy. I use them with markers, fountain pens, parallel pilot pens, and some nibs. What I don't use them for at all is calligraphy with sharp pens. They are too uneven with a sharp pencil.
